Case Examples

To illustrate the impact we have achieved for our clients, following are examples of team assessments, team building programs, and leadership development. Perhaps you will see something familiar to your organization.

Team Assessment

From Data to Action

To add depth to a 500-person financial organization’s understanding of employee survey results and make them actionable, we conducted an aspirations study of staff at all levels and made recommendations for moving forward.  We supported the senior team in prioritizing, planning, and engaging senior managers in driving positive change.

Making Sense of Employee Feedback

To assist a national non-profit organization in gaining insight into unexpected survey results, we conducted one-to-one interviews of a representative sample, analyzed results, and made recommendations for responding to the data.  We then coached the senior leader on developing a communications strategy and change initiative.

Measuring Staff Engagement

A global management consultancy wanted to measure the effectiveness and engagement of staff on two strategically important client programs. We assessed each team and provided analysis and recommendations for enhancing performance. Following this we provided ongoing support to the senior leadership team in implementing our recommendations.

Individual Coaching

Due to the confidential nature of the coaching relationship, examples are limited to high-level goals.
  • To increase the capacity of executives to build rapport with clients
  • To soften the style of gifted management consultants
  • To overcome interpersonal challenges of engineers and scientists
  • To increase overall effectiveness of mid-level managers
  • To transition military officers into corporate leadership roles

Team Building & Leadership Development

Leadership Team:
Building Trust

To accelerate the trust-building process in a successful and rapidly growing leadership team, we designed and led a program of individual leader development and leadership team development based on peer feedback, one-to-one coaching, and team coaching.

Research Scientists:
Integrating a New Leader

To integrate the new executive director with her team of scientists, we conducted a style assessment and provided one-to-one coaching on individual style profiles. We then designed and facilitated a relationship building workshop.

Junior Team:
Letting Go of the Past

To re-establish trust and effectiveness in a team whose relationships had broken down over time, we used team assessment to design a highly customized one-day session that addressed and resolved issues in the group and between individuals.

Internal Operations Team:
Enhancing Performance

Enhanced the team’s capacity to work together effectively by introducing the concept of emotional intelligence (EQ) through individual assessment, one-to-one coaching, and a one-day off-site workshop.
